Kimberly was introduced to Chinese Medicine over 25 years ago, and was lucky enough during that time to study Tai Chi for two years while going to school in San Francisco. “At that time, acupuncture had only been legal in California for a short time and I didn’t even realize I could become an acupuncturist,” Kimberly says. “Ten years later, I had an epiphany. I left my job as a marketing executive and returned to school to become an acupuncturist. It is absolutely the best decision I ever made!”
After graduating from Five Branches University, Kimberly opened Point of Wellness Acupuncture in Salinas. Her business there is thriving, however she explains, “our lives are so centered around the Peninsula, it is time to shift my work life to this area.”
Kimberly’s treatment philosophy is simple. She believes every patient has an inherent state of natural health. She works with her patients to help them uncover their individual path to healing. Using acupuncture, herbal therapy, gua sha, cupping therapy, supplements and lifestyle recommendations, Kimberly develops individualized treatments aimed at resolving patient concerns in as little time as possible.
Kimberly and her husband John have two teenage children. When not seeing patients, Kimberly enjoys laughing with her family, running, organic gardening, boogie boarding, reading and meditation.
